There are no words to describe the vibe of this amazing couple. Their grace, kindness, love, endless energy and excitement are unmatched by ANY couple we have had the pleasure of working with. Simply put, they were amazing and I am so blessed and thankful to have had the opportunity to work with them.

During our styling consultation with Tina, she said she loved color but she really wanted to do something different than what is traditionally done in her culture – she wanted all white with accents of black and gold. I cringed on the other side of the phone because nearly 80% of our booked weddings for 2022 were white. So I asked her if she would be willing to compromise and have an all white ceremony with white and pops of color for the reception. She agreed and I put the phone on mute and screamed, YES!

So, I went to work on a design that was vibrant, unique and fitting for them as a couple. Initially, I wasn’t sure exactly what pop of color to infuse at the reception until I received a picture of the Lehenga that she would wear during the reception – it was the most beautiful mix of purple and magenta! I also received the monogram that was designed for them as well. After finding the perfect purple satin napkin, a lightbulb came on and I instantly knew the direction I wanted to go – Watercolor Circles!

After sourcing the monogram to Sign Junkies for the creation of the gold floor and backdrop decals, we began working on the design of her custom backdrop and overall plan for floral and decor for their 650 person wedding reception. With the concept of watercolors in mind, I set out to find a backdrop which incorporated both purple and magenta over a primarily white base. In true Etsy fashion, I was able to find a vendor that had EXACTLY the vinyl wall paper that I had etched in my mind! I decided to create a large circular cut out which included a lush blend of white, magenta and purple floral to replicate the circle within the monogram. We finished off the backdrop pieces with accents of gold trim. The watercolor theme was also carried throughout the sweetheart and family tables as well. True to our original compromise with Tina, we created clean, white elevated arrangements with pops of color in the lower floral. We also created low white arrangements with small pops of purple and magenta.
